According to reports, the institution began asking mothers and guardians to avoid very short shorts, tight-fitting clothing, or plunging necklines when entering the building to pick up their children. Outside, on the sidewalk, there would supposedly be no restrictions. But entering through the door in certain clothing would indeed be prohibited.
The version circulating indicates that it all began after complaints from some mothers at school meetings, who claimed that certain looks “were drawing too much attention” from students and other parents. From there, the controversy kept growing: some defend the school’s right to establish rules for coexistence, while others see the measure as an attempt to control how women dress.
