Nina approached calmly and raised a paw.
The priest, seated at the altar of the church in Tancacha, Córdoba, looked at her and responded as anyone who loves their companion would: with a caress. That’s what the video Fran Carranza posted on Instagram shows, with a phrase that sums it all up: “Germán is the town’s parish priest, and his companion is Nina. He lets her have his place at the altar—100% empathy”.

According to Argentine media outlets that shared the clip, Germán Alassia spends his days with the dog and lets her accompany him during activities inside the church. In the video, she appears sitting on a chair beside him in the altar area, and he stays by her side, completely at ease.
There’s no sermon in the scene or carefully crafted message. Just a small-town parish priest, a dog asking for attention, and a gesture that within days had already spread across several platforms.
