Mica Lapegüe didn’t say a word. She didn’t have to.
A few hours after her C-section, the actress and influencer was holding her daughter Delfina when the baby managed to latch on for the first time. And her face said it all: her eyes widened, she furrowed her brow, made an astonished face, and ended up glancing sideways at the camera.
Behind her was her dad, journalist Sergio Lapegüe, who filmed the scene, unable to hold back his laughter, and commenting on how strongly the little one was sucking.
“My dad filmed the moment she latched on for the first time. I couldn’t believe how strong she is”, Mica said as she shared the video. She still couldn’t speak normally because of the effects of the C-section, so she let her expressions do the talking.
Delfina was born on September 19 and is the first daughter of Mica and Tomás Bartolomé, as well as the first granddaughter of Sergio Lapegüe and his wife, Bochi. Without a script or preparation, the clip humorously captured one of the first moments of her new life as a mom: one that can’t be rehearsed and that many women recognized instantly.
