Jaime and Alejandra, a couple of influencers from Spain, sparked enormous controversy on social media after revealing that a daycare rejected the enrollment of their “reborn baby”, a hyper-realistic doll that they treat as if it were a real child.
The story went viral after they indignantly said that they tried to enroll the doll in a daycare and were not accepted. Since then, thousands of people began debating the line between hobby and reality, while others criticized the couple’s behavior, accusing them of taking their bond with the doll too far.
Even so, they defended their decision and said that for them it is part of their family.
