Antony got to know another side of Cristiano Ronaldo when they shared a dressing room at Manchester United.
The Brazilian recalled that CR7 talked to everyone, was polite, and was always joking; but what he enjoyed most happened around the table.
“When you sat at the table with him, you learned a lot”, he said. Cristiano suggested taking the conversation off the pitch: “We live football 24 hours a day; let’s talk about something else, about life”.
Antony described him as cheerful and fun. Although they spent little time together, he said he admires him much more and considers him a role model because of the heart he has.
At the table, at least, football could wait while the conversation turned to life.
