However, those who always have to pay attention to other people besides themselves are parents traveling with small children.

That is what a man who went viral on the social network Reddit seemed to think, where a user decided to share a gesture that not many parents can have with their children when they feel tired.

According to the user, @therra123, the man used his hand to support his daughter’s head while she was sleeping on the front seat. “This man kept his hand in this position for 45 minutes so that his daughter could sleep well“, he wrote.

The post was shared in the Reddit category “MadeMeSmile”, which in Spanish means “make me smile”, where comforting and positive situations or moments are shared.

The loving and supportive father’s attitude left no one indifferent on the forum. Many people realized that he was a man who would do anything for his daughter, and for her safety and comfort, even if he later ended up with a horrible pain in his arm. 

Some people commented that it was “good parenting” and that the girl perhaps “doesn’t realize it now, but will always remember the comfort of her father’s hand“.

Even though most of the comments were praise, there were those who did not agree so much with her father’s attitude and believed it was “unnecessary”. In fact, many joked that there was “a better way” and that the man should have thought of “100 better solutions“.

Other people went a little further and said that those attitudes could later negatively influence children’s development. In this sense, the father would be giving her “lessons in comfort” that were wrong and would not let his daughter develop her personality.
