Dakota Johnson and musician Role Model, whose real name is Tucker Pillsbury, have ended their relationship after several months together, according to a source who confirmed it to People. The breakup is believed to have occurred “some time ago”, although it has not been specified when.
The 36-year-old actress and the 29-year-old singer were first romantically linked at the end of 2025. During the first few months, they kept the romance largely out of the spotlight, although they were photographed together on different occasions.
In April of this year, they were even seen kissing during an outing in Los Angeles, leaving little doubt about the relationship.
What makes the breakup even more striking is that it comes shortly after both seemed to be making their romance much more public. Dakota even contributed a spoken-word segment to the song “Love I You”, included on Role Model’s new album.
The relationship began after Johnson ended her years-long romance with Chris Martin, while Pillsbury had previously been in a relationship with influencer Emma Chamberlain.
For now, neither of them has explained what caused the separation, and their representatives have not provided any details either.
