Anthony Pollio, 33, recently lost his life after suffering a bear attack in Glacier National Park located in the state of Montana.

The young Florida man, who graduated from the University of Central Florida and had been hunting for 10 years, was hiking on Mount Brown when the incident occurred. Before beginning his final trek, the man sent an audio message to his father, Arthur Pollio, in which he enthusiastically described his daily activities and ended with an affectionate greeting.

His body was found about 15 meters from the main trail with severe injuries. This marks the first incident of this kind in the area since 1998, according to local official records.
