At that moment, when others remained silent or demanded explanations, Chiqui Tapia decided to write him a letter. He opened it with a “Dear president” and went on to praise what he called a profound transformation based on transparent governance. The AFA, he said, believes the path forward is to continue under his leadership ahead of the next FIFA Congress.
