Debbi Wood, known as “the world’s most jealous woman”, shocked thousands of people because of the extreme measures she took in her relationship to make sure her husband was not cheating on her.
According to what she said in interviews, she forced her partner to take a lie detector test every time he came home. In addition, she checked his emails, social media, bank transactions, and even controlled where he looked when they were in public.
Debbi explained that she suffered from the so-called “Othello syndrome”, a disorder related to obsessive jealousy and extreme distrust within relationships. Even so, what drew the most attention was that her husband said he was aware of her condition and accepted the tests because he wanted to help her and stay by her side.
