Jennifer Lopez may be 56 years old and still move like the stage belongs to her, but this time not everyone applauded. During a show at the Cook Music Festival in Tenerife, the singer performed a pretty provocative choreography alongside her dancers.
In the video that started circulating on social media, JLo appears crawling across the stage, very close to kissing one of them and striking poses that several users considered too explicit. Obviously, the scene did not go unnoticed.
Some defended her, saying she still has the same energy as always, that the show was part of her style, and that no one should be surprised to see Jennifer Lopez giving a sensual performance. Even less so when she has spent decades using the stage as if it were hers.
But others did not see it the same way. In the comments, they called her “desperate for attention” and said the choreography looked forced, as if she were trying to prove something.
And of course, when it comes to JLo, the internet never watches in silence. For some it was a powerful performance; for others, too much. But if the idea was to get everyone talking about her… well, she did it.
