The Denver Nuggets forward crossed paths with a woman who messaged him on Instagram, and the conversation lasted nearly an hour — they had to use Google Translate to understand each other. “I found her attractive”, he said in a recent interview, without suspecting anything out of the ordinary.
The problem came afterward. A photo of the two of them went viral, and with it came the revelation: the woman was a well-known trans figure in her country.
