Josh D’Amaro, Disney’s new CEO, has decided to put a definitive end to the use of inclusive language in the parks and productions, seeking to recover what he calls the company’s “traditional culture”.
According to reports, more than 1,000 employees linked to diversity and inclusion areas are said to be laid off.
Defenders of tradition: They celebrate the measure as a “return to sanity”, while advocates of inclusion denounce this as an act of discrimination and a setback of decades.
