Since 1955, when Disneyland first opened its doors, a colony of nearly 200 cats has been living there in secret. 🐾They are not park pets or hidden attractions: they simply found a home among the gardens and patrol the nights like silent guardians no one hired.
A cat can move each ear separately and hear sounds up to three times higher-pitched than you can. It can run at 48 km/h and jump five times its own height without effort.
They sleep between 12 and 16 hours a day, and much of that time is deep sleep. Maybe that is why they seem to live in another world… one where even Disney gave them a home. 🏰
