In a world that is always in a hurry, Dixie “The Praying Dog” (the praying little dog) achieved something almost impossible: stopping time inside a commercial airplane. Equipped with her protective goggles and service harness, this little dog is not an ordinary passenger.
Before takeoff, the crew introduced Dixie as a special guest. Over the intercom, passengers were invited to witness an act of honor. Dixie, with astonishing discipline and tenderness, bowed her head to the cabin floor, remaining in a position of “prayer” while war veterans were thanked for their service and sacrifice.
