Traci Swartz has been a nurse for 35 years. And she is a breast cancer survivor.
In a video, she asks what many of us keep to ourselves: do you think you’re too fat to wear that swimsuit? “Go buy it!”. Do you think that trip is too expensive? “Do it!”. Are you afraid the cake will make you gain weight? “Eat it!”. And, if you want, help yourself to a second slice.
She isn’t speaking from theory. She speaks from decades spent at bedsides where life is ending. There she learned something no appointment ever taught her: no one asks for fame, money, or a different body.

“I’ve seen many people die, and they never want anything but more time, more life”.
She isn’t asking us to abandon all responsibility. She’s asking us not to put off every joy while waiting for the perfect moment, the one that almost never comes.
The trip, the swimsuit, the shoes, and that piece of cake can wait. Life can’t. It’s happening now. ❤️
