Daniel Castilla never imagined that a casual comment on a beach in Mallorca would change his life.
A tourist approached him and told him he was identical to Jude Bellingham, England’s star at the World Cup. At first he laughed. Then he realized it wasn’t a passing joke.
The resemblance turned out to be so real that Castilla, a Spanish hurdler born in Calvià in 2005, ended up meeting the footballer himself before a match between Mallorca and Real Madrid at Son Moix.
But the most curious thing happened afterward: when he ran into Jobe, Jude’s brother, he jokingly asked his own mother whether they had a long-lost brother somewhere.
Today Castilla has nearly two million followers on TikTok and has already broken national under-20 records in the 60 and 110 meter hurdles. Even so, for half the internet, he is still the brother Bellingham was never introduced to. 🧬⚽😳
