Beaux Tox was born with a strange facial deformity.
He was abandoned as a puppy. He later lived with a man who left him outside all day, and he ended up sick, malnourished, and covered in parasites. According to the media outlets that covered his case, he is also blind and deaf.
Then Jamie Hulit came along. She didn’t care about his appearance or how much time and money it would take to save him. “I didn’t care how serious his condition might be”, she said. She did everything she could to adopt him.
Beaux received intensive treatment at a veterinary clinic in Texas, United States, for fleas, mites, and parasites. The bill came to 8.000 dollars, and Jamie paid it without a second thought.
Today he lives with his siblings Scout and Riley and has a name Jamie chose with a sense of humor: Beaux Tox, because he looks like he needs Botox. She jokes that she doesn’t get it herself because the vet bills took all that money.
