Dubai has just inaugurated in Al Mamzar a beach area designed exclusively for women, and it has a feature that makes it quite different from a conventional beach: it remains open 24 hours a day.
The space is surrounded by privacy fences to prevent people outside from easily observing those inside. In addition, there is a strict ban on taking photographs or recording videos, with the aim of protecting visitors’ privacy.

The beach has female staff, including lifeguards and security personnel, and also incorporates smart surveillance systems. At night, the area remains illuminated with powerful floodlights so that women can continue using the facilities after sunset. 🌙
Boys under 6 years old may enter accompanied by their mothers.
The new beach is part of the renovation of Al Mamzar, a much broader project that includes a major transformation of Dubai’s coastal area.

And although Dubai had already had days exclusively for women at some beaches and pools, the difference now is that this area was conceived as a permanent women’s space, available every day and all day long.

The idea is to offer a place where women can swim, sunbathe, and enjoy the sea with greater privacy, without men inside the area and with female staff responsible for their safety.
