In the Europa League match between Twente of the Netherlands and Union Saint Gilloise of Belgium, a comedic, and a little sad, episode played out in the stands for some fans.
After a missed shot by Mathias Rasmussen, the ball went into the stands and hit the arms of a woman carrying a couple of beers, which fell to the floor from the impact.
While some burst into laughter over the incident, a man tried to return the ball to the field with a kick, although he ended up hitting his friend’s arm, spilling his beer.
Two mistakes that earned laughs from the entire stadium and multiple reactions on the internet over the comical scene while the match was going on.
