Hossam Hassan, Egypt’s national team coach during the World Cup, did not see coming what happened in the cafeteria of a luxury hotel on the North Coast.
His two wives, Howaida Al-Gharabawi and Dina Mustafa, confronted each other shouting and ended up exchanging blows, with chairs flying between the tables. Police had to intervene to separate them.
Meanwhile, Hassan, amid the chaos, collapsed and needed emergency medical assistance. He was taken away by ambulance. The incident went viral on social media after the video emerged.
According to Dina’s lawyer, Hassan has already officially separated from his first wife. Polygamy is legal in Egypt, but this time the scandal went far beyond what is permitted by law.
