Eldina Jaganjac is 37 years old and lives in Denmark. 🇩🇰
At the beginning of 2020, in the midst of the pandemic lockdown, she decided to do something simple but uncomfortable for many: stop removing the hair from her eyebrows, upper lip, and legs. It wasn’t neglect; it was a conscious decision against a rule that no one had ever properly explained to her.
She received insults, especially from teenagers who didn’t know how to process a woman with visible facial hair. But she also found something unexpected: more confidence, more courage, and a quick way to find out who was worth having around and who wasn’t. She calls it her “barometer”.
“I want to convey the message that we are all different and that’s okay”, she said. “Everyone, regardless of gender, should have the right to do whatever they want with their appearance.” 💬
