Joe Cole, former English footballer and Premier League legend, was emphatic about his prediction for the match between England and Argentina, leaving no room for doubt.
“We’re going to put Messi to sleep. I’m saying it right now: we’re going to reach the World Cup final. We have too much pace for Argentina’s strengths and we’re going to beat them. I feel it in my bones”.
His remarks came during a talk show with other former England footballers such as Gary Lineker, Micah Richards and Alan Shearer. All of them were more cautious when talking about the match.
