🎤⚽ Liam Gallagher held nothing back. The 53-year-old Oasis frontman had been posting even before the match that he found it hard to love Argentina without wanting them to win. And when La Albiceleste turned the match around in stoppage time with goals from Enzo Fernández and Lautaro Martínez, both assisted by Messi, he had no problem admitting it.

“Respect to the lads, nobody has the divine right to win the World Cup, congratulations to Argentina, the best team won”, he wrote on X as soon as the semifinal at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta ended.

But it did not end there. In a second post, he went straight after Thomas Tuchel and England’s approach: he called for the national team to become more “streetwise” because, according to him, British football has become too technical and lost its instinct. England now go for third place against France on 18 July in Miami, while Argentina await the final against Spain on the 19th in New Jersey. 🏆
