A handshake that never happened became the most talked-about moment of the World Cup. 😮 Djed Spence, a 25-year-old English defender, kept his hand at his side when Thomas Partey walked past him during the pre-match protocol greeting before the England vs. Ghana match in Boston. He was the only English player to do so — and the cameras caught it all.

Partey is currently facing seven rape charges and one sexual assault charge, stemming from allegations by four different women between 2020 and 2022. In addition, he was barred from entering Canada for falsely stating that he had never been arrested. He denies all the charges.
Did Spence act with integrity, or did he rush to judge someone who has not yet been convicted? What do you think?
