Isabel Haugseng Johansen, Erling Haaland’s girlfriend, no longer knows what to do about her partner’s football obsession.
On the bb podcast, the Manchester City striker said he wanted to put on Manchester United against West Ham during dinner, and she said wearily: ‘I’m so tired of football.’
Haaland’s response was simple and revealing: that obsession is the reason they are together. Isabel, born in Bryne, Norway, also played for Bryne FK, the club where they met as teenagers, and at age 13 she scored 23 goals in 36 matches.
Today they are parents to a boy born at the end of 2024, and Haaland continues to break records in the Premier League.
