Suelen Bissolati has been drawing attention for years with her extremely large, rounded buttocks, an appearance many users compare to that of a cartoon character. But there is more behind her curves than hours at the gym. The Brazilian fitness model publicly admitted to having Aqualift, a filler gel used to add volume and contour the area, injected instead of opting for traditional silicone implants.
In a 2016 interview, Suelen revealed that her buttocks measured 112 centimeters around and explained that she had undergone a bioplasty on the upper part to achieve a rounder appearance. She also said she had been weight training for years and that exercise had helped develop her muscles.
Medical literature has documented complications such as product migration, infections, inflammation, and deformities, even years after the procedure.
And although everyone is free to decide how they want to alter their body, her appearance once again brings a divisive debate to the fore: how far does the freedom to transform the body for aesthetic reasons go, and when does an intervention begin to go too far? 🤔
