The actress who played Bree in Disney’s ‘Zombies’ died on September 1, 2026, according to her agency, Alexanders Talent Management, which confirmed the news in a statement posted on Instagram. The cause of her death has not yet been revealed, and her representative only said that there would be no further information until Friday.
“For more than 20 years, we had the privilege of watching her grow into a beautiful, vibrant, and talented woman, whose radiant smile could light up any room”, the agency wrote, describing her as part of its family. Before ‘Zombies,’ Carla had already been acting since childhood; she made her debut in 2006 in ‘Phat Girlz,’ playing the younger version of Mo’Nique’s character, and later appeared in ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’ and ‘American Vandal’.
