The mother of two had paid 240 dollars for the design, which she chose because she liked elephants and what they represent.
She got it during a cold spell, when she was used to keeping her legs covered. So she had no idea what would happen when summer arrived.
When she put on a pair of shorts, her fiancé, Thomas Kaye, noticed that the clothing covered almost the entire animal, leaving only its trunk visible.
The result looked like a male intimate part.
“He told me it looked like I had a penis hanging out of my pants”, recalled Felisia, who ran to look at herself in the mirror and was surprised.
Her video racked up more than 1,6 million views, while users had fun with the unexpected visual effect.
Despite the jokes, Felisia says she still loves her tattoo.
She has no plans to get it removed, although she is considering adding more details to the design. Now she recommends checking how a tattoo will look with different clothes before deciding where to place it.
