Ferran Torres, FC Barcelona forward, scored the goal that gave Spain the World Cup title. But away from the spotlight, he has a story that few people know.

It all began with Rex, his first dog. When he died, the pain was so great that Ferran and his sister decided to tattoo his name so they would never forget him. Since then, dogs have held a central place in his life: his home has rest areas designed just for them, and since 2021 he has been an ambassador for Wild at Heart Foundation, an organization that rescues stray dogs in different countries.

Today he shares his home with Minnie and Lluna, two adopted female dogs who remind him every day why he decided to use his fame to speak about something that matters to him: ensuring that no animal is left abandoned.
