Until now, that tradition was exclusive to the NBA, the NFL, or MLB. 💍 But FIFA decided to break nearly a century of history and, for the first time, will award a champion ring to the team that wins the 2026 World Cup final.

There will be 2,026 numbered rings, one for each digit of the tournament year. Only 30 will go to the players and coaching staff of the champion team, with the trophy engraved on one side and the team’s identity on the other. The remaining 1,996 will be sold as an official collector’s item, certificate included. ✨

Everything will be decided this Sunday, July 19, at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, when Argentina and Spain compete for the cup. The captain and coach of the winner will receive a provisional version at the awards ceremony, before the final piece arrives. ⚽
