Fiorella Martínez was not just an athlete. She was the daughter, the sister, the girlfriend, the Dentistry student who dreamed of pursuing two careers at once. On June 24, 2026, the 7.5 and 7.2 magnitude earthquakes that shook Venezuela took her, her mother Carmen, her younger sister Miranda and, hours later, her boyfriend Fedor Prieto Olivares. An entire family erased in minutes. The Venezuelan Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation officially confirmed her death, and her coach Joel Aristiguieta dedicated a soul-crushing message to her: “You will always be my athlete.”
