Edda Pilz, a 25-year-old German woman known as Edda Elisa, trained for four years at the John Reed Fitness chain. One day, her card simply stopped working.
The official letter was clear: a permanent ban from all gyms of the brand, except those in Switzerland. The reason, according to members who complained, was that she monopolized the mirrors by constantly taking selfies.
She insists it was all due to envy from other women ‘provoked’ by her poses. But other media outlets tell a different version: that she had already been warned several times for recording videos inside the gym. It is her second scandal in just a few weeks, after Lufthansa would not let her board a flight because of her sportswear.
