“Imagine the fat guy who got caught by the earthquake on the 14th floor, the weak skinny guy who couldn’t help his relative.” That was the phrase that unleashed fury on social media. 😤
While Venezuela was facing an emergency and hundreds of families were living through hours of anguish and desperation, Gianpiero, known on social media as “El Tigre” decided to record himself doing exactly this: mocking them. In the video, he makes fun of those who—according to him—were not physically prepared enough to face the disaster. “Imagine the bum and the drug addict who couldn’t help anyone”, he continued. His conclusion: “one must train to be strong in real life.” 🤦
The clip quickly went viral and the reaction was unanimous: total outrage. For thousands of users, mocking other people’s pain in the middle of a catastrophe has no justification.
