“Football is becoming the interruption between ads”: Klopp’s stark warning against hydration breaks

⚽🔥 Jürgen Klopp held nothing back. The former Liverpool manager went all in against hydration breaks at the World Cup, and what he said shook the football world.

For Klopp, these supposed “heat breaks” are nothing more than an excuse to insert TV timeouts disguised as concern for the players. “When I saw the players standing still while television timings dictated the rhythm of the match, I asked myself: who is the World Cup really serving? The fans, the players… or the advertisers?”, he wrote. 😤

💬 His criticism went straight to the heart of the business: “The World Cup is the cathedral of football. But sometimes it feels as if we have turned it into a shopping mall.” For him, the ball should be the star of the show — not a commercial break. Is Klopp right, or is he exaggerating? 🏆
