The images show small insects moving among the false eyelashes while the specialist performs the cleaning. Experts explain that this can happen due to poor hygiene, buildup of oil, moisture, or lack of maintenance on the extensions. The problem is known as phthiriasis palpebrarum, an infestation that affects the eyelash area and causes itching, irritation, and intense discomfort.
The clip blew up on social media and sparked a debate about hygiene in cosmetic procedures and the risk of not maintaining them properly.
