Dawn Marie didn’t need the money. She needed a plan.

At 55, the woman who wrestled in ECW and WWE and now works as a nurse in a care unit for patients with dementia decided to open an OnlyFans account. She charges 12.95 dollars a month, clarified that there would be no full nudity or explicit content, only suggestive photos, and within a few weeks she already had hundreds of subscribers. As she herself recounted, that recurring income surpassed what she managed to earn at the peak of her career as a wrestler.

Behind the decision lies something few people knew: she carries a metal cage in her neck, two prosthetic discs, and two fusions, the result of years of blows in the ring. She made her debut in 1995, signed with WWE in 2002, retired in 2005, and briefly returned in 2024 as a guest referee at NXT Halloween Havoc. Today, at 55, she has found online what professional wrestling never gave her: stability.
