Frankie Muniz, 40, the boy genius from Malcolm in the Middle, confirmed on July 1 that his marriage to Paige Price had come to an end. Ten years together, a 5-year-old son named Mauz, and a decision that -as he himself wrote- was not born from any conflict.

What’s curious is how they told it. Instead of a cold statement, they posted a video dancing together with the message: “Who says you can’t still be the best friend of your child’s mother?”. Pure happy co-parenting. But the criticism came quickly and the clip ended up being deleted.

Paige came out to defend him: she said they both “know how to work as a team”, and they will even continue together in Muniz Racing, the actor’s car project. They met in 2016 at a Frank Sinatra event, got married in 2019, and now are rewriting the rules of how a modern couple separates. Do you think a divorce like this can be normalized?
