This Monday, October 19, 2026, Nicolás Keenan and Rob Jetten announced that they are going to be parents. The couple posted photos of the first ultrasound on Instagram and wrote: “Someone very special is on the way. See you in 2027, little one”. It will be their first child. Jetten took office as prime minister in February 2026, while Keenan, a Los Leones player, has been by his side during some of the most important moments of his political career.
The baby will arrive through surrogacy. According to D66, this is not a commercial process: the surrogate, Lisa, and the egg donor are Dutch, have children, and are friends of the couple. They dedicated a separate message to them: “There are no words big enough to say thank you… None of this would be possible without you”.
