Marcelo had been married for more than 25 years when he separated from the mother of his children. He moved to a small apartment in Argentina to start over; however, he never imagined he would find love with someone of his same gender.
He was 50 years old when he met Pela, who was a soccer announcer, which is why Marcelo had already admired him beforehand. They immediately hit it off and began a friendship.
The relationship between them began to grow intense. “We told each other our sorrows and acted like psychologists for one another”, Marcelo commented.
One day Pela told him: “I have feelings for you”. His friend took it as a joke, but later he went for it and kissed him on the balcony. “I got goosebumps, but I didn’t care if anyone saw us”, Marcelo admitted.
