For years, Yousuke Yukimatsu split his life between two completely different worlds because by day he worked in construction as a bricklayer in Osaka, carrying tools and building walls under the sun, while at night he pursued his dream of becoming a DJ, spinning music in small clubs and perfecting his unique style in the city’s early hours.

Everything changed when he received devastating news: doctors diagnosed him with brain cancer, and the treatment was long and difficult, including surgeries that tested his physical and emotional strength, moments when he did not know whether he would walk again or whether he would ever be able to stand behind a mixing console again.

However, that experience also led him to rethink his future, and after overcoming one of the hardest moments of his life he made a radical decision: to leave construction for good and devote himself completely to music, turning his nighttime passion into his only profession and proving that adversity can be the most powerful push toward dreams.
