David Beckham, 51, has a new obsession, and it has nothing to do with football.
The former footballer took his wife Victoria on a tour of their home vegetable garden to show her, vegetable by vegetable, the results of months of work. Squashes, tomatoes, and even fresh eggs, all gathered with his own hands and presented with the same pride with which he once lifted trophies.
But there was an unexpected star: an elongated, curved squash that stole the spotlight because it looked like something else. David, oblivious to the joke, happily held it up as he showed it off as if it were his best goal of the season.
