From the bench and without playing: Neymar blasts mathematician who predicted Brazil’s elimination: “Try again at the next World Cup”

90 minutes on the bench. Not a single touch of the ball. And even so, Neymar ended up being the most viral of the night. 😂

Brazil survived Japan with a goal in the final moments of the match in the Round of 32 of the 2026 World Cup, while the canarinha No. 10 watched everything from the bench by Carlo Ancelotti’s decision.

But as soon as the final whistle blew, Ney grabbed his phone and sent a direct message to Joachim Klement, the German mathematician who had predicted Brazil’s elimination. The message was simple: “Mr. Joachim Klement… Try again at the next World Cup”.

The detail that made social media explode was inevitable: several users were quick to remind him that he didn’t play either. “Neymar trolls the mathematician but Ancelotti trolled him first”, one wrote.

Klement’s model, by the way, was also wrong about the Netherlands as champions, with Portugal in the final. Brazil is still alive. And Neymar, even from the bench, doesn’t miss a thing. 😅🇧🇷
