Italy once again has two brothers in its national team dressing room. Sebastiano and Francesco Pio Esposito are part of a reunion that had not happened since 2000.
Sebastiano plays for Cagliari and Francesco Pio for Inter; although they play for different clubs, they now meet up in the Azzurri shirt.
The last brothers to share that space were Filippo and Simone Inzaghi. Before them came Franco and Giuseppe Baresi, two legendary names in Italian football.
Now, the Esposito name joins that family sequence and brings two brothers back to Italy’s dressing room.
