Julieta was 26 and Facundo 29 when they first crossed paths, not at a bar or at work, but in the ward of a psychiatric clinic in Argentina. She had been hospitalized for two weeks, he for three. Neither was looking to fall in love, just to hold on.
A month after leaving treatment, they started dating. And in April 2026, they got married in front of a lake, the same place where they had their first date as soon as they left hospitalization behind. 💍
Today they live together in Recoleta, Buenos Aires, and they do not hide where their story comes from. On the contrary: they talk about the stigma surrounding mental health, how expensive it is to get treatment in Argentina, and something they learned together: that no one ‘deserves’ more or less help to heal. ‘We were able to build a healthy relationship,’ they say.
