From total isolation to finding solace in a friend: How Jennifer Aniston helped Sandra Bullock cope with her partner’s terminal illness 🥺❤️‍🩹

For three years, Sandra Bullock carried alone a secret that weighed heavily on her chest. 🥺

Bryan Randall, her partner of eight years, asked her not to tell anyone he had ALS. Only her sister knew. Bullock, 62, said that burden gradually isolated her, as she raised her children in the midst of the pandemic and watched Randall fade away.

Until she couldn’t anymore. The first person she confided in was Jennifer Aniston, her friend of three decades. They met in the ’90s thanks to Tate Donovan, the ex of both of them, at a Golden Globes party. There were never any jealousy or rivalry: only jokes about “their shared ex” and a loyalty that withstood the industry’s attempts to pull them apart. Randall died on August 5, 2023, at 57. Aniston was the one who supported Bullock when the silence could no longer fit inside a single body. 💛
