The master and lord of extreme body transformations in Hollywood has a first and last name: Christian Bale, 51 years old, has constantly shifted his muscle mass from one extreme to the other throughout his professional career.

After weighing only 54 kilos for the film “The Machinist” in 2004 through an extreme diet that included coffee, an apple, and a can of tuna daily, the actor reversed his nutritional state for “Batman Begins”. To regain volume, he consumed large portions of pizza and ice cream, managing to gain 30 kilos in just six months.

This metabolic imbalance continued in productions such as “American Hustle” where he reached 103 kilos by devouring cheeseburgers, donuts, and everything that fell into his hands. Bale himself admitted to the Sunday Times that these practices had to end because of the latent danger they represent to his longevity.
