In this body camera footage, a tense bicycle pursuit of a woman named Brenda can be seen; she had an active arrest warrant. Despite the officer’s warnings for her to stop, the woman ignores the orders, gets off her bicycle, and tries to resist arrest.
The most incredible part of the procedure happens just when the officer manages to subdue her on the ground, at which point Brenda decides to try an old trick: faking a seizure to avoid being handcuffed. However, the performance was of no use to her, since the officer was not fooled and immediately demanded that she stop the act. It turns out that the woman is a known fugitive and the same officer had already arrested her in the past, so he knew perfectly well that she usually fakes convulsions every time she is detained.
After failing completely in her attempt to evade justice, the woman was taken to the police station, where she was charged with possession and with resisting arrest without violence. To put an even more surreal ending on this story, when they arrived at the station the officers noticed an unexpected detail that they took with humor: the detainee’s husband was also under arrest in the same facility.
