Michael Lee Murray, a 35-year-old man from Utah, United States, was arrested after crashing a Subaru Outback into the entrance of a dealership in Sandy on December 9, 2024.
Hours earlier he had bought the used vehicle for about 4 thousand dollars, but claimed it developed serious mechanical problems almost immediately. According to local reports, he tried to return the car and demand a refund, but the dealership rejected the request because the sale had been made “as is”.
Upset by the situation, Murray threatened to drive through the storefront and shortly afterward carried out his warning, causing damage to the business in front of employees and customers.
