A group of Chilean garbage collectors joined the Viking rowing craze that Norway sparked during the 2026 World Cup. The video went viral on social media because of the creative way the workers adapted the celebration using elements from their daily work routine.

In the clip, the sanitation workers used a trash bin as if it were a boat, brooms as oars, and a plastic bucket as a drum. They also included a blond wig in reference to striker Erling Braut Haaland, one of Norway’s most recognizable figures at the World Cup.

The recreation brought together soccer, humor, and everyday life. The original celebration by the Norwegian national team was already trending, but this new version drew attention because it turned a work routine into a fun, shareable moment, without the need for major resources or production.
